Northville Saddlery has been in existence serving the horse community since 1975 and under the current owners since 2003. We cater to Dressage, Hunt Seat, Saddle Seat as well as the casual rider. Our Expert staff is committed to personalized service! As horse owners, exhibitors and Judges we are knowledgeable in many disciplines and share a deep love of horses and the sport. Our Owner

Marti and The Chocolate Martini

Marti Soper-Lockwood has owned horses since age 11. She showed Quarter Horses as a youth, then met the American Saddlebreds in 1977. As a past trainer/instructor she has successfully trained both amateur and youth for the horse show ring. She has personally won many State and National Awards in Western and English Saddle Classes. She is a certified 4-H Judge as well as a USEF rated Morgan Judge. She is past president of the American Saddle Horse Association of Michigan and has served on the 4-H Judges Advisory Committee at Michigan State University. She currently serves as a Director of the Michigan Horse Show Association. She earned her certification as a Handicapped Riding Instructor in 1974 from Cheff Center and teaches the Bloomfield Open Hunt Club PEP program each year.

Marti currently owns, shows (and loves) an American Saddlebred Park Horse "The Chocolate Martini."
